Flip Canvas

Two images cut into a grid, trading places block by block. Six ways for a block to turn, from a simple fade to a full cube, and you decide what share of the grid stays empty so it does not read as a wall.

Empty percentage is the control that stops this looking like a wall of tiles: leave a share of the grid unfilled and the two images show through each other rather than replacing each other cleanly. Stagger delay sets how far apart the blocks fire, from a ripple across the grid to something close to random.
