Getting started

Installation

From checkout to your first section pasted into Bricks Builder. Seven steps, about five minutes, and you only do this once per site.

~5 minutesEssential & ProUpdated for Studio 1.8

What you need

  • A WordPress site with Bricks Builder installed and active
  • A Bricksfusion license: Essential at €149/year or Pro LTD at €349 one time
  • If you use ACSS, Core Framework or AT Framework, have it installed and configured first

The setup, step by step

1

Buy your plan and get your credentials

Pick your plan on the pricing page. Right after payment you receive a confirmation email with your login credentials.

Your license lives on your checkout email

The email you used at checkout is your identity everywhere: you log in with it, the plugin activates with it, and Studio recognizes you by it. One license covers unlimited sites, with no activation limits.

2

Grab your license key

Sign in at bricksfusion.com/login and open Dashboard → License & Plugins. Your key, your plan and the plugin downloads all live there. Copy the key: you will paste it in step 4.

3

Install the Animations plugin

Download Bricksfusion Animations from License & Plugins. This is the main plugin: it brings all 97+ animations, the page transitions and the animated buttons into your Bricks editor.

In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the .zip, hit Install Now and then Activate. A Bricksfusion panel appears in your admin sidebar.

4

Activate your license

Open the Bricksfusion panel in the WordPress sidebar, paste the key from step 2 and click Activate. Open any page with Bricks to verify: the full list of animation elements should be waiting in the element panel.

Both plans include unlimited activations. Essential stays active while your annual subscription is renewed.

5

Add StudioPro LTD

On Pro? Go back to License & Plugins, download Bricksfusion Studio and install it the same way. The Studio icon appears in the Bricks toolbar: that is your AI studio, living inside the editor.

Studio needs Animations active first

Complete steps 3 and 4 before installing Studio. It checks for the Animations plugin and its license on load.

Studio detects your license automatically through your purchase email. If it ever shows License is inactive, open the Account button at the bottom-left of the Studio panel and paste the same key from step 2.

One more key: your AI provider

Generating sections runs on your own API key from Claude, OpenAI, Grok, Gemini or OpenRouter. Setting up API keys walks you through getting one in a couple of minutes.

6

Pick your framework

Open Dashboard → Design System and select your CSS framework: ACSS, Core Framework, AT Framework, the Bricks Builder framework, or Vanilla if you use none. This decides how every wireframe and every Studio generation adapts to your project.

On ACSS, Core or AT you can also import your framework configuration file, so the output matches your exact spacing and typography tokens. Everything saves automatically, and you can change it any time.

7

Paste your first section

Open the Wireframe Library, find a section you like and hit Copy. The JSON lands in your clipboard already transformed to your framework. Click inside the Bricks canvas and paste:

WindowsCtrl + VMacCmd + V

Bricks imports the section with all its elements, styles and structure. From here it is your work: edit the content, swap the images, make it yours.

Troubleshooting

A component does not paste into Bricks

Click inside the Bricks canvas before pasting. Some browsers block clipboard access: copy again and paste immediately after. If it persists, try another browser.

Styles look different after pasting

Check that the framework selected in your Design System matches the framework active on your WordPress site. The framework CSS must be loaded for its variables to resolve.

Animations do not appear in Bricks

Confirm the Animations plugin is activated and your license shows a green indicator in the Bricksfusion panel. Then clear the browser cache and reload the Bricks editor.

The Studio icon is not visible in Bricks

Studio requires the Animations plugin active with a valid Pro LTD license. Verify both plugins are activated, then reload the editor: the icon appears in the Bricks toolbar.

The license shows as inactive in Studio

Open the Account button at the bottom-left of the Studio panel and paste your license key. Studio identifies you by your purchase email, not your WordPress user email, so make sure that is the one tied to your account. Still stuck? Write to support@bricksfusion.com.
