Installation

From purchase to your first paste into Bricks Builder. This guide walks you through account setup, plugin installation, license activation, and configuring your design system.

Before you start

  • A WordPress site with Bricks Builder installed and active
  • A Bricksfusion license: Essential at €119/year or Pro LTD at €279 one time
  • If you use ACSS, Core Framework, or AT Framework, have it installed and configured first

Setup guide

1

Purchase and create your account

Go to the Pricing page and choose your plan. After payment you will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials.

Your license is tied to the email you used at checkout. This is the same email you will use to log in and to activate the plugin. If you work with multiple client sites, you can use the same license on all of them. There are no activation limits.

2

Log in and find your license key

Sign in at bricksfusion.com/login with your purchase email. Go to Dashboard, License & Plugins. There you will find your license key, your plan type, and download links for the plugins. Copy the license key. You will need it in Step 4.

3

Install the Animations plugin

From License & Plugins, download Bricksfusion Animations. This is the main plugin. It adds all 97+ animations, page transitions, and animated buttons to your Bricks editor.

In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. Select the downloaded .zip file, click Install Now, then Activate.

After activation, a Bricksfusion panel appears in your WordPress admin sidebar. That is where you will activate your license next.

4

Activate your license

Open the Bricksfusion panel in your WordPress sidebar. Paste the license key you copied in Step 2 and click Activate.

Once activated, all Bricksfusion elements become available inside Bricks Builder. Open any page with Bricks to verify. You should see the full list of animation elements in the element panel.

Both plans include unlimited site activations. You can install and activate the plugin on as many sites as you need. The Essential plan stays active as long as your annual subscription is renewed.

5

Install Bricksfusion Studio (Pro LTD only)

If you are on the Pro LTD plan, go back to License & Plugins and download Bricksfusion Studio. Install and activate it the same way as the Animations plugin.

This plugin adds Studio directly inside Bricks Builder. When you open any page with Bricks, you will see the Bricksfusion Studio icon in the toolbar. Click it to open the AI section generator.

Bricksfusion Studio requires the Animations plugin to be installed and activated first. Make sure you completed Steps 3 and 4 before installing it.

6

Configure your Design System

Go to Dashboard, Design System and select your CSS framework. This controls how wireframes and Studio output adapt to your project.

ACSS

Core Framework

AT Framework

Bricks Builder Framework

If you do not use a CSS framework, select Vanilla. Sections are output with hex colors and pixel values. If you use ACSS, Core Framework, or AT Framework, you can also import your framework configuration file so the output matches your exact spacing and typography tokens.

Your Design System saves automatically as you make changes. You can update it any time from the dashboard.

7

Copy your first component

Go to the Wireframe Library and browse by category. Find a section you like and click Copy. The JSON is copied to your clipboard, already transformed to your selected framework.

In Bricks Builder, click inside the canvas and paste.

WindowsCtrl + V
MacCmd + V

Bricks detects the clipboard content and imports the section with all its elements, styles, and structure. From there, customize the content, images, and colors to match your project.

Troubleshooting

Component does not paste into Bricks

Make sure you click inside the Bricks canvas before pasting. Some browsers block clipboard access. Try clicking the Copy button again and paste immediately after. If the issue persists, try a different browser.

Styles look different after pasting

Check that the framework selected in your Design System matches the framework active on your WordPress site. The framework CSS needs to be loaded on the site for variables to resolve correctly.

Animations do not appear in Bricks

Make sure the Bricksfusion Animations plugin is activated and your license shows a green indicator in the Bricksfusion panel in WordPress. Clear your browser cache and reload the Bricks editor.

Studio icon not visible in Bricks

Bricksfusion Studio requires the Animations plugin to be active with a valid Pro LTD license. Verify both plugins are activated in WordPress, then reload the Bricks editor. The Studio icon appears in the Bricks toolbar.

Cannot find the welcome email

Check your spam or promotions folder. If you still cannot find it, go to bricksfusion.com/login and sign in with the email you used at checkout. For further help, contact support@bricksfusion.com.
