Sensitivity is the whole feel of it: low and a card needs a deliberate throw to leave the pile, high and it goes with a flick. Random rotation is what stops the stack looking machine-stacked, and the card dimensions are fixed rather than fluid so the deck holds its shape whatever you put in it.
