Graviton

Particles drift until your cursor arrives, then gather into a ring around it that breathes in and out. They can be capsules, spheres, boxes or pyramids, and when nobody is there an invisible point takes over so the effect keeps performing to an empty room.

Field strength and ring radius are separate: one is how hard it pulls, the other is where the particles come to rest, and setting them against each other is what gives the ring its tension. Auto-animate has a delay, so it waits a beat after the visitor leaves before taking over.
