Ether Spire

A column of light standing in the section, turning on its own or following your mouse instead, with waves running through it top to bottom. Two colors blend down its length, and it lowers its own quality on small screens rather than asking a phone for more than it has.

Width and height are set independently, so the column can be a thin shaft beside your text or a broad wall behind it. The blend mode decides how it sits against what is underneath, and there is a breakpoint below which it either simplifies itself or steps aside completely.
